The FMS 1/18 FCX18 II Ford F-100 RC Rock Crawler is a highly detailed 1:18 scale 4WD electric RC crawler that combines classic Ford F-100 styling with modern off-road performance. Officially licensed by Ford, it recreates the iconic sixth-generation F-Series pickup with a hard-shell body, molded interior, mirrors, steering wheel, realistic bumpers, and scale-focused details
Built on FMS's second-generation FCX18 Low Center of Gravity (LCG) chassis, the truck is designed to provide improved stability when climbing steep slopes, traversing side hills, and driving over uneven terrain. Its full-time 4WD drivetrain, solid axles, metal gears, oil-filled shocks, metal suspension links, and officially licensed BFGoodrich KO3 tires give it strong traction and controlled crawling performance.
A major highlight is the 2-speed transmission, allowing the driver to select low gearing for slow, precise technical crawling or high gearing for faster trail driving. The model also features a magnetic quick-release body system, making body removal and access to the electronics and battery considerably easier than traditional body-clip designs.
The integrated lighting system adds substantial scale realism, with functional headlights, taillights, turn signals, and roof-mounted spotlights controlled from the transmitter. Hidden wiring and the magnetic power-contact system keep the installation clean while allowing the body-mounted lights to operate without complicated wiring connections.
