Officially licensed by Land Rover, this highly detailed scale RC crawler recreates the iconic Camel Trophy Range Rover with an authentic body, detailed interior, driver figure, roof rack, snorkel, expedition accessories and functional LED lighting. It is built on the proven FCX10 chassis with full-time 4WD, front and rear straight axles, metal drivetrain gears, four-link suspension and adjustable oil-filled aluminum shocks.
The crawler is powered by a 550 32T brushed motor and features a 25KG metal-gear steering servo for strong, controlled crawling performance. Its two-speed transmission allows low-speed operation for technical obstacles and higher gearing for faster trail driving. The low-mounted motor and transmission help keep the center of gravity low, while the solid axle configuration provides excellent traction on rocks, dirt, mud and uneven terrain.
The Range Rover also features FMS's quick-release body system and magnetic lighting connection, making battery access and maintenance easier without dealing with traditional body clips or loose lighting wires. The RS version is supplied without a vehicle battery or charger and is designed to use a 2S or 3S 5000mAh LiPo battery with an XT60 connector. With a suitable 3S 5000mAh battery, the manufacturer specifies approximately 30 minutes of runtime
