The HobbyZone Sport Cub S 2 615mm RTF RC Airplane is a compact and beginner-friendly trainer aircraft designed to make learning RC flying simple, stable, and enjoyable. The Sport Cub S 2 features HobbyZone's exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which is designed to help prevent over-control, loss of orientation, and crashes. It provides multiple flight modes that allow new pilots to begin with increased stability and gradually progress toward more experienced flying. A Panic Recovery function is also available to quickly help return the aircraft to a more stable attitude if the pilot becomes disoriented.

Its ultra-micro 615mm-class design makes the Sport Cub S 2 considerably smaller than many traditional trainer aircraft. This allows it to be flown in suitable parks, large yards, sports fields, and other open spaces where a larger RC airplane may not be practical. The aircraft is fully factory assembled, so no major construction or glue work is required.

The aircraft uses a 4-channel control system with an integrated electric motor, ESC, receiver, and servos. It is capable of gentle aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and rolls, while the SAFE system helps beginners maintain control. The aircraft also supports telemetry-ready battery-voltage information through its Spektrum radio system.

Power comes from an included 150mAh 1S 3.7V LiPo battery, which is recharged using the included USB charger.
